| Private answer We beta tested the Garmin Tread for Garmin - the gps side worked great - its accurate to just a few feet - the radio side lacked range(compared to a 60w Rugged) but it is definitely useable and they were working on improving it - they also have a "group ride" feature similar to ride command. I personally use a tablet as I like a larger screen that I can scroll the map as far and fast as possible - I am often in a national forest with hundreds of miles so I need to see as much map as possible.
